If you’ve been following Wholehearted Studio for any amount of time, you’ll be familiar with Oxleigh House – my 1930’s Queenslander home and passion project that I have been lovingly restoring over the last ten years.
We are so excited to now offer my beautiful home for hire as a shoot location.
Boasting three-metre-high ceilings with original ornate plaster detailing and picture rails, this home is known for its unique character. Curated with mid-century, vintage finds, and blended with modern curios and handmade furniture and objects, it has been painted white to provide you with a blank canvas that you can restyle and make your own. When hiring the space, our studio prop inventory will be available to use also.
Indoors is a beautiful light-filled studio room and office space, plus the lounge room living area, dining room, and guest bedroom, where directional light pours in from its windows. Outside, in the front garden the 2 metre boxed hedges create the perfect spot for fashion shoots, and the outdoor verandah and fully restored exterior of the house creates a beautiful backdrop for portraits, outdoor furniture, or fashion shoots.
We’ve hosted shoots for Ziggy Alberts, James Lane, Blinds Online, Carlotta and Gee, and many more! Conveniently located just 5 minutes from the Bruce Highway, the house also has easy access from the street for a whole shoot crew.
