For the last couple of months, I have been busy working on a project for @jameslanedesign and it was in my favourite location… my house! I got to choose new pieces that would work in with my existing vintage and handmade furniture, but create a new look lounge room.
This lounge is the ‘Claude’ and it’s a modular sofa that has entirely removable and washable covers that you can arrange in all different ways. The rug, cane side table, floor lamp, cushions, knotted throw, art [on the right], and candle holder I selected are all from James Lane.
It has created a fresh and cosy feel to my 90-year-old lounge room and my little boy and I love it. The best part is we both fit on it, spread out with ample room, rather than the tiny sofa we had previously. I am looking foward to lots of movie nights, snuggled up here, making new memories.
